Gem Carving:
Each student will have their own lapidary gem carving unit and will learn the basics of advanced techniques for gemstone carving and polishing. The listed kit fee includes all gem material.
Classes are held for either 2 or 3 days, as scheduled above. 3-day classes can be modified to 2 for those who cannot attend the full 3 days as needed. Contact John for more details.
Cost: $525 for both 2 or 3 day classes.

Additional gem material may be purchased that is not included in the kit fee. Students may bring their own gem material, but a kit fee still applies.
Lapidary Basics and Beyond:
Students will gain knowledge of cutting cabochons in standard shapes and advanced shapes. Grinding and polishing different hardness gem material will be the main focus. Students will each have their own Genie Gem Maker from Diamond Pacific for the duration of the class. All gem material will be furnished and included in the kit fee. Students may bring their own gem material, but a kit fee still applies.

Lapidary Inlay:
Student will each have their own Genie Gem Maker from Diamond Pacific for the duration of the class as well as a high quality sterling silver inlay blank that I designed specifically for inlay. All gem material will be included in the kit fee. Students may bring their own gem material, but a kit fee still applies.
